Creating food experiences and raising vital funds
Who doesn’t have a cause close to their hearts? Well, here at Provenance Inns & Hotels, we have been proud to support a number of fantastic charities and some great work around the Yorkshire region. When we look at the work of each of their teams, it becomes quite humbling, which gets us to thinking, ‘what is it that we can do to help raise vital funds?’. As it turns out, we’re pretty good at creating the best dining experiences with the finest food and freshest ingredients!
This month, we are all about supporting the work of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service; a charity we know saves lives daily across this largely rural county of ours. This month alone has seen the aircraft and teams out to 1030 incidents with the busiest area being Thirsk, neighbouring town to our very own Carpenters Arms.
Starting with Yorkshire Day on 1 August and then throughout the entire month, we will be serving up a new Yorkshire Special on our menu, an indulgent pie pleaser! For every one of these pies sold, we will donate £1 to Yorkshire Air Ambulance. This isn’t just any pie either; we have taken the most succulent Yorkshire grain-fed chicken and added in a fine Yorkshire chorizo and a splash of Ampleforth Cider! Served up with a sweet potato mash and buttered courgette ribbons, there has never been a tastier way to raise vital funds for our incredible charity!
So, what’s holding you back? Make sure you celebrate Yorkshire throughout the whole month of August and treat yourself to the best and most important pie in town.
